The Gluttony

yo- its been a minute since i was able to sit and put some work on the Young. Been on one for the past 4 weeks. Been through some serious shit.

We had Magic the last week of August. As usual it was a grueling 4 days of standing and doing my thing. ya’know- Building. Magic was good for me. We handled business. But as a whole Magic was sub par. Everything felt a little stale. there was a lack of newness.

Also, Magic fumbled when they put of barrier between the main show AND STREET WEAR (in your best Darth Vador voice)

I understand that what is going on with our niche of the market is special. it is. but we are in an industry that relies on a system that is based on the Heating up (of trends) and the Cooling off (of trends). didn’t like the fact that we were separated from other brands.

don’t forget the lack of foot traffic as a result. if you were not aware of the this section it was very easy to miss it. buyers that did make it behind the black cloth tended to be quality.

not like a few seasons ago when shops that had no business buying street ware, were swarming the floor. phew, glad that is over.

Magic highlight. the off the floor business. you can cant more business dont at the Circle bar that you can sometimes get during the day.

it was good.

after magic, i got home to a hectic we preparing for Agenda…
