Giving Thanks

November 24th, 2007 · No Comments

This thanksgiving I spent my time a little different than in years past. Usually I run from friends house to friends house. It is fun and I see allot of people. But I don’t see the people that matter the most. My parents. This year I changed it up.

I spent two nights sleeping on my parents couch. The air mattress sucked. haha. But the time spent with them was amazing. I forgot what it was like to forget about the outside world, work, friends, partying, and girls.

Being away from all of these distractions I was able to think. About my life? The good and the bad. It was a humbling experience.

Living in LA I have been living a very fast life. In LA, like most cities. There is always a party, always temptation. Bottom fucking line there is always some bullshit going on that you can get your self into. Good and bad. I have been getting into a little more of the bad than good. And yea, its normal. As I would usually say and my friends would agree. But I am over that reasoning. Being the better half of 25 it is time for some changes. Actions speak louder than words.

NOW WHAT TO BE THANKING FOR.

I have so many things to be thankful for.
My friends.
Family,
The town I grew up in.
The places that I have been.
The college I went to.
My Career.
And yes there are more things I could list. But that gets boring.
Most of all I am thankful for the ability to better my self.

HAPPY THANKS GIVING from THE REEZ.
