I posted some of Kris Kuski’s work a while back. He is pretty demented guy. I like it.
Here is his latest work.

Beef Jerky Purse by Nancy Wu
Posted by Reez • Thursday December 18, 2008
I should have left this one to The Gluttsie but I couldn’t help myself.
Nancy Wu has a gluttonous side to her. Whether it is incorporating a spoon full of prescription pills into her art or using Beef Jerky to make designer purses and wallets.
I am always impressed when gluttony meets luxury.
A perfect Christmas gift for the little Gluttise in your life

For the Gluttony in your life.

Saber for the 100k
Posted by Reez • Thursday December 18, 2008
When I’m not writing for The Gluttony I am working with clothing brands. One of the brands I work with is TheSeventhLetter. We are always working to go above and beyond for our retailers.
This year we put something special together for the Zumiez 100k event. The 100k is a 2 day trip thrown by Zumiez for Zumiez employees. A way to give back to the kids on the floor. The ones actually selling the close.
We wanted do something really special this year. Saber painted a little something for the 100k. Who ever wins the 100k this year is in for a treat. Saber killed it with this one.
Here is the step by step process courtesy of Known Gallery

This painting is sitting in my office. I would be lying if I said I didn’t think of keeping it for myself.

What a great a way to start your art collection. First piece original Saber painting.

Rachel Roy

As quoted by style.com:
“Buy now, wear now” is Rachel Roy’s philosophy for pre-fall. No lofty inspirations, just mix-and-match basics for the girl-about-town: a Lurex blazer—so textured it resembled snakeskin—paired with a boldly striped cowl-neck blouse; peg-legged trousers worn with a matching oversize jacket; a pair of sleek silk jumpsuits. Roy’s realistic approach to design—this is a wear-year-round, seasonless collection, she said—should help her bottom line in the current economic climate. And she’s not afraid to lead by example: Roy herself has been photographed in the clothes six months ahead of their delivery date.”
Yeah, she’s the new deal.

Saturday night Imaginary Foundation, I Dream, Therefore I Become show opened at SURU. The show was sick. IF showed oil paintings, sculptures, and a series of skate decks designed by IF and produced by Element . The highpoint of the night was the live performance by the cosmic drummer. Video below.
